Lena Kahlbom has always been drawn to the world of fragrance and the way a scent can evoke a feeling, capture a moment or become part of who we are. Her appreciation for perfume began early, inspired in part by her mother’s love of fragrance, and has grown into a passion she now shares through House of Selkies.

Having lived in Scotland and now calling Gotland home, Lena finds inspiration in the landscapes around her. The sea, the forests and the rugged cliffs are part of her everyday life, shaping the atmosphere and spirit behind the three fragrances she has personally selected.

House of Selkies is a small passion project born from a love of scent, a connection to wild landscapes and a desire to share something meaningful. It also supports a cause close to Lena’s heart: ECPAT and its work to protect children from sexual exploitation and abuse.
